I´ve looked around for advice about placing jackstands. She´s gonna sit for about 2-3 months. I read somewhere that you´re not supposed to place them under the frame of the car (as i`ve seen many advicing), as that might cause a bending in the frame, especially with Convertibles. The advice was to place the stands under the support beams.
Any suggestions?
I would think the jacking points that are labeled at the bottom of the car would be safe. BUT - I have read many posts on doing this on this board and others and people I respect say NOT to let the suspension hang. If it is only going to sit for 2 or 3 months there is no need to put it on jackstands anyway. I just park mine in the garage for the winter here in Michigan and have never flat spotted the tires. You might consider the 'skates' that are available now, basically steel plates with a curve to match your tires that are on castors, one plate for each wheel. This way you can move the car around easily. But you do need to jack up the car to slip the plates under the tires.
I´d like to take the wheels off, hence the jacking. I also am going to dismount the front bumper (paint job). And flush the cooling system, and...
Maybe it´s easier on the suspension with the wheels off?

What support beams? Be careful here, the only place the car can be safely lifted is the frame. Check the service manual for lift and support points. I have my method on my web site (use at your own risk) and have used it many time. My 90 always sat on blocks over the winter so I could do the wheels in the warmth of the house. This is the first year I will store the C5, for this year it will stay on the wheels.
Thankx, I was really confused, trying to find a spot to place the stands. The advice with support beams was presented at a Corvettepage in general, not specifically C4.
I must say that the Forum is an amazing thing, you become easily addicted. :D :D :D
