I own an 87 vette and want to put some wheels that fit the later c4. Is it true that this can be done with 0.75" spacers? what size wheels can i go to? 17"? also can anybody recommend a good place to buy the spacers?

Why mess with adaptors or spacers when there are plenty of aftermarket wheels with the correct 36mm offset that you need for an '87. They are nearly all 17" which to me is the perfect size.Check out AFS,Factory reproductions,OE concepts, OE wheels,Tomzwheels et al.Whatever you decide on DON'T use spacers.
