1988 c4 spark plug plea.
HI everyone, wonder if I might prevail upon you for some more info. What is the unit that sits alongside the a/c whose piping hinders access to no.6 spark plug.Can I disconnect same without problems,there is no mention of this unit in the haynes manual ? Also I'm still confused about plug choice, which are best and why? Thanks to all in advance.

Are you talking about the pipe that runs above the manifold and goes to the A.I.R. pump? There's another metal tube that runs from the manifold up to the intake for your EGR. You could disconnect either, but I don't think it's necessary to get the plugs out.
