A Good report

I've been a member reading the forum for over a year now, and while i have learned alot from all of you, most of the threads have great questions, and very good answers, and all to often the thread dies before we hear the results of the good advice.
Well , I have asked a few questions myself over the last year, and have gotten quite a few replies which helped me alot.
This year i pulled my 89 corvette vert out of the garage after the long winter, headed to the gas station and filled the tank in anticipation of some fun driving times again this year.
After about six months in storage, there are always some gremlins that cause some concern, dead battery, low tires, mildew smell, rough runing, stalling at stop lights, etc etc.
so after the long winter reading this forum, i knew exactly what to do, what to look for, and suprisingly a good idea how to fix most small problems.
I have read alot of threads dealing with stalls and stutters, idle problems, surging, and alike, and i am happy to report, after a quick code read, i noted a O2 sensor code, but after reading several threads about the O2 sensor it rarely yielded a positive result when swaped out, the problem seem to continue.
every time i pulled to a stop light, the car would idle rough, and then stall, i checked everything from injector ohms, to plugs, wires, fuel pressure, cleaned the TB, all that was left was to replace the O2 sensor, BINGO.
what a difference, the car runs like new, absolutley better than it has ever run for me.
steady idle, good pickup, runs smooth as silk.
As for swaping the O2 sensor out, on my 89, it takes a little will power, and some patience, there is alot of advice to get the car hot, and remove the sensor, didnt work for me, i soaked it PB blaster, and took a 7/8's " open end, with a cheater bar, and just muscled the thing loose, the car was cold.
All in all about a 20 minute job.
Thankyou all for helping us with your advice!!
