Got this photo of my rebuilt 383 yesterday from Paul, SloRvette. He's putting things together this week, and I should have her back on the road soon. Like the old song goes, "Anticipation...."
Good, you can tell me the difference between your former hot cammed engine and the 383. I am going to stroke my engine next year. . .but wanna get some feedback as to whether I should simply get more power out of the 350 with good heads and stouter cam. . .and of course a rebuild.

Did you put your stock heads and cam in the 383?
I did put the stock heads back in, but they were extensively ported. After porting, the intake airflow is around 270 cfm, as compared to the stock 210 cfm. The intake was also ported, and a 58mm throttle body was also installed. The cam was custom ground to match the flow numbers.
