Remove ECC unit/faceplate
Recent responses to post on erratic button operation point to a simple cleaning of contacts and checking solder connections. How the heck to you pull unit and or face plate?? My Haynes manual doesn't help on my '95. THANKS

A Helms factory service manual would help. Remove the screws in the vents above it. Remove shifter plate and slide it back to access the screws at the bottom of the bezel. There is a clip on the bezel side into the dash to be careful of and pull the bezel. You should be able to get it out then. Do search on bezel removal.
