88 starting troubles need help please
I need help
I have and 88 vette that was running fine but yesterday I was taking my girlfriend home and stopped off infront of her appartment turned the car of for five minutes and then went to start it again but it wouldnt crank. All the lights would come one and the radio would play but the car wouldnt crank at all. So i checked all the wires under the drivers sideand they all seemed fine, i made sure the key and clutch were pushed in all the way but still nothing. So i went up stairs to call a tow truck and with in 30 minutes i tried to star it again and the car started. Does anyone know why this is?

Do you have any pocket jam [lint/etc] on your key?

VATS Security System: Search the forum archives and there's tons of info on Vats, bypass, effects and cause.
If you have lights, but doesn't crank, then prob VATS, give it 5-10 minutes or have a beer and try again.
