Default E85 conversion

Since moving to Texas last year, have had much problems finding race gas at the pump or methanol for my for my water/alky injection (only found them at the track) plus car must pass sniffer test. In Florida, there were a number of gas stations where I lived that sold 100 octane unleaded fuel at the pump and there were no smog inspections...I miss Florida! As E85 has an octane rating of 105-110 and there are several Kroger stores near me that sell it, have decided to make the jump to 85% ethanol. Has anyone else switched, and if so, what has your experience been with the conversion?

No problems at all for me.

You need more fuel, about 40% more.
I replaced all fuel hoses to ethanol safe hoses.

I include in my prayers every night before bed.... "And please bring E85 to Wilmington, NC, Amen" if it is available to you, Prep the fuel system to be ok with the ethanol and NEVER looks back, look forward to running the same or more timing then your race gas and having cooler engine temps and being able to make MORE power even in the heat of texas!

Also check and see if they have E98, this is even better then E85!!!
Enjoy it man, I sure am envious you can get it down the street!

This is the kind of feedback I need...keep second guessing myself on whether this conversion thing was a good idea or not.

I will change over just as soon as I can get it here in California.
there are only a few stations here and both of them are like 60-70 miles away from me.

As soon as I get one within 10 miles, I will switch.
