Just wanted you guys that have never seen the front side of your radiator,because its hidden by a couple of items..well i had to replace mine and i took some photos,you'll be surprise.....!!!!!

Quite a find isn't it? I've seen worse, mine for one. This type of thing is why guys complain about running hot. If a car is going to run 220* it doesn't matter if you have a 160, 180, or 195 stat in it, it's still going to run 220*. Doing maintenance like this, having the radiator cleaned out, and having the ECM programmed to turn the fan(s) on sooner are the ONLY things that will bring running temps down.

Very true! Once the rad is clean, the fans are reprogrammed, and maybe a higher capacity rad, with a lower stat, then temps will dip to where you want them (wherever that may be depending on your plant).
And yes - the rad needs to come out! The vette is a vacuum cleaner for the road - has been since the C3 - anyone who tells you differently is running a little 'hot' himself!
