They are either 4 or 5 size reverse tirx. I got it from a snapon truck.

Or you can use a regular torx screw to use as a screwdriver to pull those inverted torx screws if you're in a bind.

When I got my MSD dist. they made a little socket out of a female torx screw. Just put the screw head into the male fitting and screw it out.

I have heard this also about Snapon.

I bought like a 50 piece set couple years ago at Sun & Fun in Lakeland just to get that special bit. Of course the rest of the set is good to.

Default Torx drivers

Sears sells a set of 'Security Torx Drivers' for under $20. There are about two dozen bits and a driver. Very handy.

Got mine from Amazon. About $4 but that was a few years ago.

Got my set from advance a few years back. Had to buy the 8 piece set to get it. Harbour Freight has them too. In a pinch you can take one of the screws out of the TB top plate and use channel locks with it. It is the same size.

I got one at Autozone, it was either $2.99 or $1.99, can't remember, but it did the trick.

Does marking the rotor location really matter? The opti can only engage the cam one way correct? Do they tell you to mark its location just to make it easier to line it up for installation? Thanks ahead.

it is a deep E4 female torx, you can take one of the screws out that holds your throttle body on and use that in a pinch though.

I used a torx screw right out of the plenum with a pair of vice-grips careful not to f#!*-up the threads.
