If you look through my archived threads you will see the flow chart for the heads. In "J"'s head post he kind of makes it sound as if he changed them, but they are the same heads that I bought for it a few years back. The only change was pistons, .030 bore, and valvetrain. I would have to lean towards the pistons lowering the compression or the setup height being incorrect and throwing the geometry off on the valvetrain causing lift issues.
The tune was spot on and the fuel was 12.9:1. If there as a fuel pressure issue that should have shown up on the wideband. I would not lean towards tune, simply because its the same tune it made 365 on and basically the exact same engine combo.
Dunno about 350 cubic inches, but the CC306 cam in my experience had a peaky powerband, even on a 383. Idle is good though and would have similar street manners as a stockish 350 with a CC503 cam. I would suggest a GM847 cam reground to a 109 degree LSA and then you can have both torque and power! Yet, I'm still thinking about an even hotter cam...

I really don't want to change my cam out. I like the setup i currently have. I did how ever put a set of magnaflow mufflers on I don't know how restrictive they are, but I'am curious? As for the compression, I'm going to check with the builder this week to see if he knows what it was! I'am also going to check the push rod lenght. I may never find the loss of power, but I'm happy with it the way it is .
