Had to do with the CCM module on a '90/'91. The questions were some specific "what would happen in this scenario" that were not outlined in the FSM. Moreso things like would the CCM independantly operate the LCD w/out a valid vats key, without ALDL comms to the ecm, etc. Stuff I wouldn't expect the average vette tech to know (cuz who does this??) but I figured this guy would know the electrical systems inside and out.
Amazin' how someone can get 10 right, and 1 wrong, and guess which 1 everybody remembers...
( I bet GK probably hits more than 10 before a miss too )
I was more poking fun at the worship than the man. I'm sure the guy is the smartest vette tech on the planet. Just funny how the 1 question I asked couldn't be answered.
I think Jeff has more hours into the 90+ dash electronics than anyone of us would ever dream of having. I abandoned the project because I simply don't have the space to do it now that I've closed the shop and have the vette in my driveway. All my tools/machines are in storage.

GK was the guy who essentially wrote the FSM's for the C4's - if it wasnt in there he didnt need to know

That is a "simple" question? I think it's more respect than worship.

Nah. It's worship. Corvette folks are funny stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like the cars but some of these guys are a bit too fanatical.
And yeah, it's a pretty simple question. The FSM doesn't really have logical details on the CCM. I think if you're going to sell something like a car you should explain how every inch of it works.
