Default Dtc 64....

Hey guys, need some C4 tech help here...

My 93 LT1 has been sitting in the garage for the past two weeks or so... had a parade today and started the car, pulled it out of the garage and went back in the house. When I came outside, the SES light was on. I immediately (I don't know why???) switched the car off and then on again. The SES light was still on, but as I drove away, it turned off.

I went through the parade (a whopping 3 mph, tops!) with no apparent drivability issues (SES light never came on again either). When I got home I pulled the code, a DTC 64, right bank O2 sensor, lean exhaust.

In my FSM, it details several reasons for the DTC.... one of which could be fuel contamination (it's been very humid, the car was stored in a dark garage - a little vapor in the exhaust at startup???).

I did search and did not find any posts with my specific code. At this point, I am not going to do anything and see if the DTC comes back. Should I clear the code, or just leave it for now?

In the mean time, anyone got any ideas?

If the SES light went off, then the code that you pulled was just the 'history'. I don't know why it was set, but I think that if the SES light turned off, then everything's fine. I would clear the code, and just keep an eye out for the light in the future (how would you not?...)
