Default Motor Mounts

Who makes a nice set of aftermarket motor mounts for the C4s? I tried energy suspension and they have the urethane inserts you install yourself after drilling apart the spot welds on the stock mounts. THANKS FOR ANY REPLYS Pipe

That's actually good news.

Up till now, unless you made your own solid mounts you were SOL.

I'm making some billet aluminum mounts with polyurethane bushings .they will fit 100% like stock mounts and and the polyurethane bushings will be replaceable .before i decided to make these i looked everywhere for a polyurethane bolt in mount for the 84-91 and i could not find anyone that makes them .I will post pics when i get them done and as of now i am planning to make a few sets of them.

Yes, they were for C4's.

Brand: Anchor
Part number: 2902SR

As I said, I got them at OReilly. The 2902SR is supposed to be solid rubber (no oil), while the regular 2902 is oil filled.

Thanks, it not in either O'Reily's or Anchor's online catalog.

I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Unfortunately there's no O'Reily's in the N.E.
I remember getting a clutch from them back in MI

I got the solid rubber ones; I hope they are a bit stronger. I would ASSume the oil filled ones get rid of more vibration, but my car isn't exactly a DD.

I put new mounts with my new motor, simply for piece of mind (and one of my 150K mile stock mounts was broken).

I paid $59.99 each. Here is a link to ORielly with the part.
