Not with 1.6 rockers... I think the rods still need to be changed... and I dont think Ill make enough power with just the hot cam... Whats that good for? 10 wheel?
6pd or auto? The CC503 is a bit larger than the Hot Cam and makes for a good daily driver. Many folks use the CC306 as well, its about as large as you can go on stock heads, and would really benifit from a coverter upgrade if the car is an automatic.

Did he use the stock push rods? My car made 320 and 336 on a dyno jet with my boltons already... Id be happy with 350rwhp and 350 rwtq... Obviously it looks reasonable!

Most of the companies that sell ported heads and cam packages also sell just the custom cam designed for your car and driving habits. Much better than the hotcam but it will cost more.
These are the two most popular with the F-body guys...
So I have decided where I am going to go with this install! I spoke to "Bob"? From TPIS for about 15 mins and I think the decision is clear! Thanks to you (all in this thread) and the sales man at TPIS I have decided to go with their ZZ409 cam and their appropriate springs and hardware! Their price is cheaper then the Hot cam kit and it makes similar HP and TQ on a stock motor with stock exhaust then the Hot cam would make with the Mods I have already done to my car! He also said this cam is great for my trans and rear and said that the 1.6 RRs are very comfortable on their cam. He also said that it is still a MILD streetable cam!
Im very excited! I will place the order on friday *pay day! * And I will then start the install! I know there are plenty write ups on the forums but I will be sure to take pics and post as I go!

The reason it is less than the Hotcam kit is the Hotcam kit includes Crane 1.6 full roller rockers. It will work fine but it is in no way better. A hotcam at Summit sells for $210.
