I had some popping and resonance when I first put my elims' on.
so here is what I did.....
Bought a new front Y-pipe with out pre-cats....
Eliminated ALL popping
Had a cross over tube welded onto my rear Y-pipe......
narrowed the resonating band to 1700 rpm's
The sounds kicks butt

I just put mine on last fri. I love the growl when I acclelerate and I love the pop when I let off. I get smiles from people walking every where I go now! :cheers:

After hearing all this about the elims....I might just try it. I "straight piped" my 76 Malibu Classic in high school and it sounded great....one of my freinds had a 94 Camaro six banger......did the same...........and man...........IT WAS AWFUL!!!!!
Any suggestions on which Elimns to get??? Are their any mufflers that sounds like the elims?? For me I gues its between the Flowmaster's and the Elims............give me your pros and cons! :cheers:

Do they "POP" when you let off??? I have heard several systems that do this....and I am not sure I like it!

Mine don't pop at all. But I know someone else who as them and they do pop.

I've got the MidAmerica kit is kinda cheesy.
There's people on the forum that have done a better job on their own.
You can use whatever tips you want.
Most of the big names sell them separately.
Do it! You'll love the sound! :D
