failed NJ Inspection

I failed for HC was 193 the standard is 120

and

CO% 6.22 standard is .67

i did get a code 43 which is a knock sensor(esc)

are the problems related to each other

Profile say '93.

Knock sensor will alter your cars timing when triggered.

Was the car up to temp. during the test?

When's the last time you did or had maintenance done...plugs or an air filter change?

i forgot about air filter. i have a K & N Filter which hasnt been cleaned the plugs were done in april along with injectors.
car was normal running temp.

Injectors are a hot topic these days......lots of talk about reseting the CCM/ECM for a proper learning curve.

mine were replaced with factory gm injectors.

What kind of emisisons test does NJ use, dyno, at idle, etc?

It would be a good idea to replace the knock sensor if needed; first check that the connector hasn't come off.
