Well I hope you don't have a engine problem and only a 400 opti problem
Why are you useing 0w-30 oil????
Your manuall recomends 5w-30 or 10w-30 up where you are I would use 5w 30.
wow, read the full thread.... out of gas! f***!! lol....
For future reference, I DO believe an insurance company would pay for the damages if the owner has full coverage (which is required when you have a lean on the title).
I've never asked though, so it might be a good idea to get some info from your insurance provider.

Yeah,I read just about the whole thing but I ran out of gas
Based on this thread I don't think that a corvette is your type of car unless you want to pay a lot of money to keep it running.
It really says something about this forum that so many would offer to help get your car on the road AND not flame you after finding out you ran the car out of gas. You will probably need a new fuel pump soon since the chance that you have fried yours is very likely. NEVER run a FI car out of gas or even run the tank lower than 4 gals. I will expect you to ask a lot of questions on this forum - like anyone who owns a C4, but you need to learn basic car ownership. Driving your car with less than 20 miles of range worth of gas is akin to ONLY adding oil when you engine starts to make "funny" sounds or the check engine light is lit up.
Read as much as you can about repairing and maintenance of your C4.
Welcome to the madness of owning a C4.
A lot of good options and advice so for. But I think all wants to know what that something is. Its hard to make a good decision or even give good advice based on weak data.
Easier said then done to get inside of it and really see and find the problems. You may not have the necessary tools or space. But maybe you can describe some of the symptoms more exactly. What the noise sounds like, oil pressure, is it running etc.
Well I wrote this and did not see other pages of posts. But still don’t know if we have the correct symptoms.
