Edelbrocks new Pro Flo XT intake
Does anyone know if Edelbrocks new Pro Flo XT intake will fit under Corvette hood?

Melting Slicks
With a height of 9.09" above the china wall it looks like it may work. The throttle body may be an issue. Somebody needs to spend $415 and try it out.

Drifting
It'll be more than that, need throttle body, probably throttle cable, small cap distributor, fuel rails, regulator, etc.

I would like to know if it fits and what is needed also. Do you think it can run with a C4 ECU like a super ram or mini ram, or do you need the whole kit??

you could run it on L98 ecm's. just use LS1 TB and the appropriate LS1 IAC and TPS sensors and wire them into your stock wiring. They use the same voltage signals as the L98 cars.
I am not sure of the injectors but they do look to use the universal GM/FORD style that we have
So the swap is easy. Just need fuel lines to the rails and swap those sensors.
it looks shorter than the HSR from the pics so that may be a good indication of its height. How much smaller/shorter than the HSR does the intake have to be to fit?

that easy?
You make it sound almost too easy. If it really is, this may just be what the doctor ordered for my 86 over the winter. If someone puts one of thes on an L98 please post how it all worked out and what was required. Gotta be something over on TGO on this too I would think.

yep there are two threads talking about it, one with more information than the other but basically it sounds like all you need is LSx TB, LSx TPS/IAC connectors to splice into your TPI harness, and custom fuel lines
thats it
thats it

Someone on here measured 9.150" max on the front china wall.
It may just work, does somebody have a link to where you can buy just the intake, not all the other stuff in the package.
I've seen the threads discussing it, not seen many... any running it...
EDIT: I see the release date got pushed back again...that would explain it.

Is this the intake that the R/D guy from Edelbrock was talking about. I remember he was here and on 3rd gen talking about the new manifold they (he) was designing. I remember he said it would fit under the hood of a C4 Corvette. Total cost was supposed to be $400.00. They came pretty close, looks like about $550.00 plus TB and electronics.

I'll be interested to hear your measurements. I've gotta believe that the 9 inches is close to the height of a TPI setup.

OK, so I was curious.
Went out to the garage, and a rough measurement looks like the height is 8 3/4-9". Can't tell for sure, too many things in the way.

Thats the thread about the BBK turtle-ram, not the Edelbrock
