I ordered a switch yesterday because I didn't think mine ohmed out right. When it comes in I'll put it in and see if I need to disassemble the door. As I stated earlier, all my interior lights are working so that's not it. I wish I had been in charge of Corvette design; the cars would have been made a lot simpler, like the first Vettes.
Oh, by the way, I wasn't trying to bite anyone's head off...I just didn't think they would use a light to complete a power window circuit, because to me it seems that every time you used the power windows the courtesy light would come on!! I went to electronics school but some of these automotive schematics are still hard to understand.

Exactly. That is why when I replaced the bulb and the window started working, I was like "WTF??"
I'm starting to doubt: I think I'll go out and check that light again. I did manage to buy a window switch at Auto Zone for $15.99 plus tax. I'm going to install it anyway, when I get time, since I took the old one out.
Well, the switch wasn't the problem; The door light's not the problem, so I guess the only thing left is to tear into the door (assuming there was power to the switch). I've had the door apart before so maybe I pinched a wire or something. That door hardly gets opened so I doubt if anything is worn out on that side. I guess I'm going to be looking for the light blue or the tan wire or a loose connection at the window motor; lastly, the motor itself. Ugh!!

I have a diagram and a tester; I guess the next thing is to take the switch back out and see if I have voltage to the pink wire. If I do, guess I'll tear into the door.
