I've got a '93 with 79,000 miles, stock (although that will change this winter)
Question, I am wondering if at 79,000 it makes sense to just replace the stock cats with high flow ones. Like the ones fro Random Tech.?? Not sure how many miles it takes to "dirty" up cats.

I'm not sure either, could be lots of factors other than mileage too such as: how slow/hard the car has been driven. Amount of internal oil blow by. Type of oil/gas used.....ect
I say take your car to the race track on a test & tune night and run it with the "old" CATS still in and keep your time slip. Order the "new" high-flow Cat/Cats...install them......then head back to the track and see how the new time slip compares to the old one.

There is no set time or milage. If your car is running well and you have no codes, why change them. Spend the $300 on something useful.
