transmission shift adjust
Has anyone read the T.P.I.S insider hints book, and if so, the section on adjusting the shift point is not clear to me, I'm having trouble relating what they said to do, and relating that to my '86, I'll most likely contact them but I thought I'd just ask on the forum, thanks

They are talking about adjusting the position of the TV cable, but I disagree with them. That cable is used to adjust line pressure at part throttle and so alter shift points and speed at part throttle.
To change shift points at WOT you need to change springs/weights inside the tranny.
