Well, here is a video (15 seconds) of me autocrossing...you hear me accelerate as I come towards the camera...then get off it as I go by...then moderately get on it again.
Corsa of course...and if you look at my sig pic, you can see the tips.
I like the sound of the Borla exhaust on my car, but I've had it since 1992 and would never buy another Borla setup. I'm now on my fourth center resonator, having replaced each time for different reasons. Loose parts inside that rattled, broken inlet pipes, etc. Borla has replaced it each time with no complaint but communication with the company was as frustrating as it gets. I appreciate the million mile warranty but that doesn't cover the labor costs for replacing the parts or the time packing and shipping the broken stuff back. I figure I've spent about $375.00 for labor to replace the thing over the years. I'm going to be putting a crate V8 in my Jeep Cherokee this spring and will be buying headers and stainless exhaust. The exhaust will probably be Corsa. Here's a little sample of the Borla sound, remember I'm not a recoding engineer! http://www.danwaltz.com/VetteStereo.mp3
I like the Borla's I have on my LT1, they sound great, just get the mufflers, as the rest of the LT1 system is just as good as the Borla. Be carefull cutting off the old muffs, so you have enough pipe left to mount the new ones on correctly. The Borla's didn't come with instructions and it is easy to cut too much off the old system. :(

Glad yours worked out. As a counterpoint, I had the borla mufflers on my '92 at one time and they didn't fit worth beans, had to get them cut and welded to get them level. Then the crookedly welded on rectangular tips started buzzing against the tailpipes. I eventually got tired of the unbelievable resonance (6 speed) and got a corsa system, which was a world of difference. Fit perfect, no resonance, and they actually know how to package merchandise so that it survives shipment.

Re: Corsa Or Borla? (JD 90 383)
regarding resonance, believe it or not: a lot of it is due to gearing. I had 2.59's and the drone was awful...not to say the mufflers we're to blame. Once I had switched to 3.45's the resonance was gone. .
