seen this on the bay... anyone have anything to say about it, good or bad?
Discription says ...Throttle Performance Switch will provide an immediate improvement in throttle response and the maximum amount of fuel and timing advance. Best of all, installation is a direct plug-in to the throttle position sensor and requires no tools! Great for any stock or modified engine.
Complete waste of money. Just put your foot down further.
If you want an improvement, bump your stock TPS to about .63 volts. That's where I run mine at, and I get a noticeably bettery throttle response without throwing a code.

The factory setting is .54 volts.
Switch is hype! I run my TPS @ .62 the difference is noticable.
A waste of money. Sure it will work for a while, but at soon as the PCM/ECM senses the fuel/air and spark advance, it will cut back on the fuel/air ratio and retard the spark back to the factory ECM settings. Then you just wasted your time with a jumper wire effect on your engine wiring harness! Just get a heavier foot!!
Upper two wires on TPS sensor. Backprobe with a mutl meter and turn key "On". Engine does not have to be on. Loosen both torx screws and adjust by hand till you get the right voltage reading. Retighten torx screws and recheck setting.
As you open the throttle by hand, you should see a steady increase in voltage, with no breaks. At wide open throttle, reading should be close to 4.0 volts.
If you raise it too high, the idle will raise. My car likes .63 volts. I get bettery throttle response with this setting than with the factory .54 volts. I drove around and blipped the throttle back to back. .63 feels more responsive.
Richer? I don't know. I get high 20's MPG sometimes 30.
