Here's an article on their blower engine with a ProCharger

Golen Engine Services 383 LT1 ATI Procharger Install - Large And In Charge

Using the tuning expertise of Brian Herter at PCMforLess, Golen broke in the motor naturally aspirated and made a few full pulls. Despite the low compression, the motor made a healthy 432 hp at 5,800 rpm and 436 lb-ft of torque at 4,600 rpm, but with the addition of the blower, output climbed to 707 hp at 5,500 rpm and 694 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm using only 93-octane pump gas!
I'll be using less boost on mine, but I'll have better flowing heads.

LE or AI ported stock castings are very very good heads. Depending on compressoin and the rest of the combo, they will support near 500whp if not more. Solid roller and some rpm but i've seen it done.

its sooo easy to get 400whp with a 383 with stock heads that were ported by LE or AI. For the price i think its about the same, depending on what level head you get, so the choice is yours. But atleast you will know the LE head has the valve train and matching cam to go with that head for a great overall combination of parts.
