Help starting car withou coolant.
Well I had an oil leak right on the seal of the opticspark and some of the oil got into the optic. I open the optic up and it was full of oil. I'll post pictures later. Now, is it ok to start the car with connecting the water pump/ adding coolant? and also no belt. I just want to make sure the optic works without putting everything back together.

I've done that with a car with iron heads but never with aluminum heads or block. Should be fine to run it for 20 seconds or so.....I would think. Let it cool on its own before adding cold H20.
