Default another window problem

Ok, after I got my car painted, I noticed that when you close the driver side door with the window up, the top right corner of the glass hits the car and knocks chips in the paint. It seems like my glass is leaning too far inside on the top end and that the back needs to come up. I have adjusted the felt pad all the way against the glass to push it out, but still no luck. the glass is just leaning too far inside.

My buddy is a painter and did the paint work for me. I just don't know what happened all of a sudden.

It is the window stop in the front of the door. They are plastic and break at any time. Do a search there are 100's of threads on them. Use the FSM and replace them. Keen parts has them.

Mounting bolt that goes throught the piece could be loose too...or the whole rack is loose in the door. Pop the panel & the aluminum plate off and take a look....look for extra hardware laying in the bottom of the door.

My passenger door had the exact thing happening, so I replaced the window guide/stop. Problem solved.

Just remember when ordering that they are side specific and take your time.
