can you guys tell me which c4 model to look for with the 2.25 lock to lock power steering rack??
I know the z51 had the very fast 2 turns lock to lock rack but just can't seem to locate one so now I'm just going to try and find the 2.25 rack.

Do a search. Z51 & Z52 are supposed to have the same 2 turn lock to lock rack from all the stuff people have dug up on the forum. Only the spring rates are different between the two packages. The base model rack steers 2.5 lock to lock. With that said - my '89 turns 2.25 lock to lock for it is worth....there is no slop in my steering system either....I bought my car used many moons ago. I have not replace any of the Z51 steering components...previous owner maybe did. The 2.25 steers very fast.

thankyou very much for the info, yeah I would be happy with the 2.25 rack but I got to drive a 2 turn rack and wow I felt like I could sip on my coffee and drive through a road coarse lol
