So I find out after I get home from a run to the store, that all of my exterior lights, other than the headlights, aren't working. I had noticed that the dash lights were not functioning on the way there, and I tried the dimmer switch to no avail. The chime for leaving the headlights on is not working either.
Car is showing a code 34 as well (but that's been there a few days), and I think I just need to clean the MAF (worked last time). I don't have the FSM with me at the moment, but none of the lighting electrical runs throught the burn off relay does it?
MAF and the lights issues should not be related...check your fuses in the panel for the lights.
Clean the MAF and/or change the MAF relays...and see if your MAF codes go away.
Fuses were good...checked 'em last night.
The MAF is a small recurring issue, as the blower pulls vacuum from the passenger vavle cover, and over time it gets a slight coat of oil on the internal MAF sensor wiring. Not too worried about that one, a good cleaning takes care of it most times. It was just coincidental timing I'm guessing.
