If the car truely is a 427-435hp version, with 42,000 actual miles, it may well be worth more then the $4,250.00 bid on it right now.
Perhaps but...
Original engine is gone and body is "destroyed" (for lack of a better word). I am no expert but the interior is probably worth some $$$ though.
I look forward to seeing what someone gets this car for when it closes, it makes my dull life seem interesting
Kind of like the craigs list police out there
The pink flames on brown paint. . . .makes it look like burning s**t.
The interior is really nice and stock, as well as the engine bay. With an all black paint job, it might look a a little better. Whoever choose the colors and design should be water boarded.
When I was a younger version of my current self, I saw this movie called "CORVETTE SUMMER" and in it was the BADEST Corvette that I had EVER SEEN!
Fast Forward in TIME.................................... ..............................
As an older version of said self, avid corvette owner/operator, I looked up that car and when I saw the pictures of what I THOUGHT was AWESOME, was almost Unbearable to look at!
My how views change with time!.............Unaltered Vette's of ANY generation are timeless classics! IMHO

Before I got to your post, I was going to say hard to choose between this car and Dantley's "Corvette Summer" ride. I do like the low front end.
A new front end is $1k and a new back end is $1k, no idea on labor. If it went for $5k or less you could end up with a nice car after some time in the body shop. If the original motor was in it, it'd be a smoking deal.
I'm guessing the fence was put up by the neighbors. The price for the car is still higher then the cost of high fencing or I'd rent it long enough to get my neighbors to replace ours. Anyone having the same idea? We could go in on it together and pass it around the forum...
With ultra dark tinting on the side widows and the limited visibility from the front there is still too much chance someone would see my driving it.
As they say on Dragon's Den, "Sorry boys but I'm out."
