I know this is and old thred, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm the one who bought the "Ugliest Corvette Ever" lol. I've been on the C3 forum, and noticed this one. I thought" I wonder if it's the one I bought", and sure enough.......At least I have a number 1 car in some catagory....:-)

I was a member of the forum a couple years ago, but I just re-joined about a month ago under a new name(forgot the old one I used). The thread actually came up in a google search I was doing(small world kind of thing I guess). I bought the car about 3 months after this thread was posted. I don't have a C4, I have 2 C3's both 68's..1 numbers matching SB, and the other is the ugliest corvette ever apparently. Just had to comment on it when i saw the thread.

Wanted to add this pic so people don't think I have the Opramobile....It was the one on E-Bay that was in the first post of this thread and here it is!!! I'm currently stripping the hidious paint job thats on it in the pic, gona go black with a motion stripe. And in response to the one reply, Enzo Stuardi was a race car driver in the 60's and 70's...Thats who built it...he used to do worse to Lambo's if you can beleive it.

The speedo in my 68 BB only goes to about 35/40 MPH and will not go higher. It seems to read the right speed untill then, and works smoothly up to 35 MPH. I removed the inst. pannel, and it turns freely. I can get it to about 10MPH spinning it by hand, but when i hook it up to a power drill it stops at 35 MPH just like when it was in the car.(I should note the speedo is out of the car and I was using an old peice of cable in the drill so binding cable was not the problem) thanks for any suggestions you may have.

Today you mention you have a 68 SBC but, below on 6-21-09 you mentioned you have a 68 BBC.

You have to give WhiteHause credit...he is a stand up guy.
I actually like the Brown POS....just not that roll bar thingy. But the paint is cool and the rest is cool as well. remnants of days gone by.

Dont change the body work and give it a proper paint job. A motion stripe would be great. Maybe some deep dish slots or cragars. Got anymore pics?
