The disc on the water pump pulley is the "frisbee".

Correct. Its a dampener. Most remove it. Its pretty heavy, supposedly its worth a couple HP on the top end.

man its been FOREVER since ive worked on this car but i got a break from school this week so im gonna try and put this thing back together. ive got a couple big mechanic jobs coming in and they are on hold untill i get this car out of the garage so i can have some work space. im hoping to have this car buttoned up this week at some point. wednesday night being the goal.

some small progress pictures, threw the heads on tonight.

also picked up some 275/40/17 tires w/ about 80% tread from a buddy for fifty bucks. these will be going on the front magnessium wheels. i gotta find some 295/35/18 rear tires.

i also got the valve lash set tonight and the driver exh. manifold on. i have a stud broke off in my passenger side exhaust manifold collector. what do you guys usually do about fixing/replacing these?

its alive again! finally got it done last week. we went on vacation this weekend and I decided I was gonna get it done before we left. heres a couple pics. I have to put new brakes all around before I start driving it. $300 for rotors and pads... wish I was working on a camaro instead lol

I have about three different sets of wheels for this car. these are the magnessium wheels that I restored for it but I think they darken the look of the car and im thinking about selling them. I also have the stock wheels which are kinda rare b/c they were made in 88 only. I also have a set of 89 wheels which will probably be finding there way onto this car b/c ive always liked that style wheel. I also have a lowering kit I cant wait to put on the car but ive never dealt with this style front suspension. It has a fiberglass spring that runs through the k-member. the lowering kit consists of a little poly-urethane wedge that you place in the spring. Not looking forward to paying a couple hundred bucks for a four wheel alignment either.
