I forgot that the BHJ plate uses steel sleeves for the longer bolts. That should make things easier.
There are two ways I can do it. With 3" plate, and drill the holes for
medium and short bolts, or with thinner plate, but than spacers/sleeves

I don't have acess to one now, but I am going to guess 2 inches thick is about what they are.
I'm leaning towards 2" plate, but I could make either without any
problems. I'm only not sure if stock bolt heads would fit drilled holes
that are 20mm in diameter in my drawings?
