no start C4
Hi, everyone hope you had great hoilday, my 89 c4 coupe will not start,cranks but no start, replaced wires & plugs, fuel filter & tested fuel pump. can someone give me other opptions on problem. thanks jr917

Basics..
What did you do to make it NOT run...start there.
Shoot a little starting fluid in the throttle body, if it fires you have spark. If it doesn't then you should look at your ignition.
Fuel and spark at the right time is all you need just like an older engine.

Did you test both injector fuses ??

'89 starting trouble
My '89 convertible has a similiar starting problem. It will occassionally not start after it is shut off. If I spray starting fluid in the plenium, it cranks and runs until the next time. It some times goes days before it doesn't crank again. I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter, but has not solved the problem. Can someone help me with solving the root cause of the problem.

ohm check the injectors. If the fuel pressure is there I bet 1 or two are at 10ohms or less. If any are dead shorted, the car won't start

Thanks ohmed out injectors found 3 bad will need to get new ones can you give me an Idea on cost of the bosch III injectors thanks
