Anybody installed a Crane Gold Race standard body (11759-16) with centerbolt valve covers ?. I know the 10759-16 is a narrov body, but is it as strong. I have a 350 lbs springs (valve open).

Don't worry about it too much. You don't have enough spring pressure to break anything.

The trunion on some of the wide body rockers can interfere with the "stands" and bracing in some of the center bolt rocker covers. You have to cut the center of the rocker cover up for clearance. I think it's only a problem on the stamped steel B/F body rocker covers thou.

I used the regular Crane gold race rockers on a motor I built last year for CF member "blackharleyman" and they fit under the stock composite LT4 rocker covers fine.

I have too the stock composite covers, but my question is that is the cover stud too close with non-narrow rockers. The stud is very close between intake and exhaust rocker. Early valve covers have not this problem, but i do not want them.
