Just changed the oil level sensor on my 92'. New battery in it 1 week old. Backed it in the garage when all done (had it on ramps in driveway)...didn't back it in all the way I realized when I got out. Got back in & went to start it up to move it 6" & nothing? Full power, all lights, nothing dims when I go to crank it, complete silence? Took it in/out of gear (auto), foot on brake, etc. Nothing?
After working on it for a few hours it is dark & I'm tired...anyone have something "obvious" I should look for in the morning???
allright, i had a complete write-up on how the factory security system works on 92' & I can't locate it...with the key turned trying to start the "SECURITY" light stays solid & when door closed or key not in turned to engage starter it blinks...possible I am an idiot & this is security system related???

Yep, the VATS is activated if it is on solid. Rearm the car and let it sit for 15-20 minutes and try again after the timer resets.
I was an idiot...she fired right up after I rearmed & she fired up.
Thanks again!
