Climate control problem
When I bought my car (86' coupe) about seven years ago, the climate control didn't work. After replacing all three computers that run it, I noticed that the same problem was starting to happen again. The heat or AC worked fine for about five minutes then the lights on the control head would start going crazy, the fan speed and temp numbers would start going up and down. I traced this to a bad ground. When I added a new ground the problem stopped and I have had no problems since. Last week I bite the bullet and had a DFI system installed to control the 383 that I put in at the end of the summer. Since then the problem is starting again. I checked the ground and it seems to be intact. I was wounding if anyone else has had a problem like this?
