as far as the zz4 oil pan vs L98.
Does the ZZ4 have the main bolts with the extended threads to use the L98 sheet metal oil baffle, or does the zz4 have a different one, or not use one all together?
Is there any reason you cant use the l98 baffle and oil pan on the zz4?

The ZZ4 parts list shows the Windage Tray number #12554816

SDPC lists that as the corvette baffle

So I think the answer is they are the same, but (for the reasons I stated above) I didn't take my pan off to see, first hand.
I don't see any reason the Corvette pan & pickup tube would work, but I just haven't done it myself, to tell you :o

oh yeah does anybody know much about this engine sb chevy 383 from patriot performance? It is pretty good price, but is it good quality? i would use my own intake on it though, edlebrock intake base and runners with my tpi if it is good.
