Are those the Stock LT4 rockers that are non-adjustable. If they are they have no set screw in them. They just get torqued.

Hmm.. you sure? Yes, they are the factor LT4 ones ... look in the pictures. They have the chevy bow tie.
What torque are they supposed to be set down to?

Cool pics!! Once I buy new tires, and have $ saved up for the tranny, and a couple other things, I will buy a set of LT1 heads from e-bay for like $300 and do a nice port job to them.

You were right!! Called my builder and he said after looking closely and talking to a couple people, the locks aren't needed on them... thanks!

Not sure of the torque is of the nuts. I can check the manuals later.

I don't know if there is a set torque, although there very well may be. For hydraulic lifters though, I believe the accepted method is to tighten until you can no longer spin the push-rod freely(with the oil system primed and the lifters filled), then 1/2 a turn. Its what I did and approaching 1300 miles now and still no noise. Good luck!

Heh...what if your builder accidentally got EM gaskets for an L88, for an LT-1 C3? :D

That would suck. It's already put together and running, so I hope not!
Actually I saw the boxes for the gaskets.. they were for an LT1, definitely (not the older one)
