Standard GM opti spark, $399, Accel $299 and MSD $499 which one?
What year? The later C4 is vented, if your's is older model do this upgrade. You can get a A/C Delco repair kit with new rotor, etc.
Unless Accel has improved their part pass on it, I have had my LT4 96 for 10 years and have read a lot of Bad posts about Accel opti-spark.
MSD is really expensive, buy a vent kit from Mid America or Ecklers, same for repair kit.
Unless there's a noticeable improvement in performance, I'd think OEM. They're proven ultra-reliable, and geez, if someone noticed the MSD in there, they might think you drive the snot outta your car. Wouldn't want that...
very nice !! I like the K&N RAM air custom setup work. Pretty ingenious!! I am a bit confused as to what you have done to the rear "trunk" area. Some pics look like stock '64, while others show a raised cutout ??? Fuel cell stuff ??
First off, thats a really nice project you have going on there. Second, Summit Racing has a nice distributor too, last year it was $250. I installed it in my stock motor, and its been great.
