My trans was fully rebuilt over 20 years ago after I recently got the car. Didn’t know anything about this car at the time and had no tools. I was in the military living in the barracks without a garage. Trans still functions without issues like the day I picked up the car from the trans shop. Have not had any issues with it in 20 plus years except for this TV cable. Been driving it like this for over 20 years now. I don’t know if the cable was like this before the rebuild or not.
Basically if I hold D down while opening throttle to set it the shifts are way too early. It won’t automatically ratchet like it’s suppose to. So I’ve been driving with it all the way back for all these years with no issue except I can only open the throttle 3/4.
