ABS pump on continuously for 10sec then light
'86 vette-This problem just popped up with my ABS. I had the anti-lock light on before I changed my hub bearing(dvr side). I think it was due to the excessive play in the wheel before replacement.
NOW, with new bearing installed, on start up-normal, 4mph pump test fine, start to accelerate above 4mph and the pump/module is humming for about 10 sec until cutoff and the "anti-lock" illuminates. I have read some good info on this forum from guys like mike88z51 which I will follow but I havn't read of this problem happening to anybody. Does anybody have any suggestions?
