Default AutoXRay 6000 Scan Tool

I think I am going to get the AutoXRay 6000? Good choice? Any suggestions where to buy?

It needs to work on a 1994 C4. I also have a couple 2003 GM vehicles so I thought it would work good on those also.

I also have OBDI and OBDII cars. I was thinking of going with the Equus 3140 which looks similar to the 6000.

Did you compare the AutoXRay 6000 to any of the Equus scanners? The Equus is less expensive and appearts to do everything the AutoXRay 6000 does.

Sure does! I starting looking at the AutoXRay 7000 now. It allows a data dump to a PC.

Nice features. I'm going to cap my purchase at $200 and likely go with the Equus for "quick and dirty" scanning. I have an autotap that I can use when I need to capture and review on the PC.

I never knew of AutoTap. Is that for OBDII only?

Good question. I only have the OBDII connector, but perhaps they have earlier connectors. I'll have to check that out.

Thought it was a good price.

Works great on my ´91 and on a friends ´90.

Both Corvette with the C68 if some one wonders.

Haven´t tested yet on other cars.

It will probably work fine for you. The only problem I had when I had it was I am running Vista OS and unless they have a patch now for that OS thier software sucks on it. It likes XP. Maybe the 7000 will do a better job with Vista.

I have the 6000 and I got it from Ebay. It workes very well for all of my OBD-1 and OBD-2 cars and trucks. The 6000 comes with a cable to load all the info to my computure here at home.
