Thanks, man. I'm assuming the M stands for machine bolt and 14 is the number of threads per inch. Does the other 14 stand for the bolt diameter? Please excuse my ignorance in these matters but I know the people in the hardware store are just as clueless as I am.
M14 means the bolt/nut is 'metric' , diameter is 14 mm.
2.0 is thread spacing.
last '14' is strength of steel used.
doubtful your local hardware store will have anything in this category, try local "fastenal' or other industrial fastener store (most of those are not open week-ends)
