87 l98 timing

I just replaced the plugs,wires,cap and rotor and want to check the timing. She still has a little stumble at takeoff. The book says I need to disconnect the EST from the distributer. I'm not sure which wires or plug they are talking about. Can anyone point to the right ones. Thanks in advance.

There is a black single wire connector ( tan wire ) up by the dist that needs to be disconnected while you set timing so ECM is not controlling the timing.Reconnect after setting
