.Still having the same problem with my 90 c4..I changed the fuel pump fuel filter bought fuel injectors from ya, and changed the spark plugs this morning it is still bogging every time i try to accelerate...Im sooooo pissed with this car right now!! please help
AND......... Did you test all the stuff mentioned by some in your previous thread, like TPS, clogged exhaust, stuck IAC, CTS?
Do you have a Service Engine Soon light (that works, I mean)?
If yes, checked for codes/what is your car trying to tell you?
No one on this forum can help if you don´t write what you did and/or what you didn´t test/check.
Checked the tps a while ago it was ok, thought about clogged exhaust nothing leading me to that right now iac was ok just scanned it yesterday even though no light was on and there were no codes everything looked pretty normal..it will accelerate but when you go to give more gas just boggs and falls on its face??
Maybe this will help. Had a similiar situation on a 1990 L98 in my street rod. When downshifting from a steady throttle at cruise, she would bog badly. I mean, no power at all. Believe it or not, my charging system was marginal....was only putting out about 11-11.5 volts at steady throttle and would drop below 11 at kickdown. Replaced alternator with new adjustable voltage, quick amperage model and replaced 2 charging circuit connections....presto, problem gone. If you don't drive the vehicle much (like most street rods) and battery charge is boderline, this CAN cause this problem (although several other fuel-related issues like clogged fuel filter and weak fuel pressure come to mind). Computers and fuel injection require a good battery and good connections, as well as a charging rate around 14-14.5 volts to operate properly. If the charging system is anywhere at limp as mine was, you will have a system that cannot possibly meet the increased load requirements under acceleration. Check your voltage at the battery and output at the alternator. Also, check your battery ground. Please let us know what you find...
I think im gona un bolt it and drop it down to take a peak...Im getin ready to go back out there and do some more trouble shooting....But its acting as if the tps sensor were bad so i dont know....
how you making out with that?have simular problem, mine starts fine but when you rev it breaks down, ease on the gas it will rev to 2400 rpm after that it just bogs like running on two cylinders but wont stall.
it is still bogging every time i try to accelerate.only when you drive it.
No load on engine when reved in park so dynamics are different to when car is driven.
More info needed Bogging = engine goes flat and then recovers revs like normal.
Will it rev out eventually or does it max out at a set rpm?
If it starts and idles fine but will not rev under load then almost certain to be blocked cat as mentioned.
Been there.

You can't scan the IAC ; there is no feedback. What you see is the ECM signal SENT to the IAC ; not what it is actually doing.Has no affect off idle anyway.

Once again ; bog or flatlineing ?
Two different problems
If breaking down then likely spark problem
I have seen no mention of wires possibly being the problem. Only the
changing of the plugs. When it is completely dark, pop the hood to see if there is "arcing" from the the wires. I had a similar problem weeks ago. I was in the process of checking everything from "bad gas" to a newly replaced fuel pump and fuel regulator, etc. Decided to check the wires early one A. M. — BOOM! It looked like the 4th Of July. I replaced the wires (my 1st time doing this—whew!), now the '94 is running better than ever. Good Luck.

Check your cats as mentioned.
Engine will rev to a certain point and go flat.No miss or popping just no more revs.
If the wires are breaking down then the engine will miss and backfire

Mine didn't. It just "cut back" during acceleration.
