Default Adding cam require new chip?
Adding hotcam and 1.6 RR's to 89,do I require new prom or get away with just stock ARAP at this time.

The answer is yes.
I sent my stock prom to Scott Hansen it was $60 to reprogram.He also has alot of helpful links and tuning info.

I plan on using it as a base tune to get it on the road. I am going to learn to burn my own.

It might idle a little rough on the stock tune but should be drivable. Adding midrange timing will really wake it up.
