How do I identify parts?
I purchased a set of Crane gold 1.5 RR'S of Ebay a couple of years ago that I was informed were from a modified 89 350 chevy pickup.(Ive since sold the RR'S)
Now comes the ignorant part
From Memory the guy also included lifters(no roller) and Push rods and said they were crane with only 2k on them from the same vehicle..but I cannot find any markings to ID them to cross ref compatability with the 89 vette....as Im about to install a hotcam and compcam RR'S and thought in the process would replace the stock lifters and pushrods with these, due to 80k.

Let's clarify; are the lifters you're trying to identify flat tappet or roller lifters?

The GM stock roller lifters virtually never wear out.
Replacing them with any kind of flat lifter is a giant step backwards.
I wouldn't even consider moving from roller lifters/roller cam to flat tappets....

You are now educated. Don't get rid of roller lifters.

If you have the itch to do something the valve train change your rocker arm ratio!!
