I am getting the 93 LT1 ready for the season, I have done a lot of things to keep her going and I was wondering what kind of preventative Maintenance items should I look at?
I have replaced the following
Clutch/Flywheel
U-Joints
Rear Bearings
front Tires
Hoses
Belt
OLF
Idle Air Control Motor
Dyna Spark
EGR
Weatherstripping
Air/Fuel Filters
Plugs are 30K old
What would you guys think is a common preventative maintenance issues on these?
-Thanks,
Charlie
Change the coolant out, PS fluid, and the rear diff fluid should be changed around 100K.
Shocks generally should be replaced at 75K, if they havent been already. You might want to replace some suspension bushings if you feel like going further with maintenance, but its labor intensive for some of them.
Don't forget to also change the coolant, rear-end fluid and oil.

I am only repeating what I have read about changing differential fluid. It should not be changed due to the fact that like synthetic oil in the engine, will cause leaks in older differentials anad that the engineers did not design it to be changed in the vehicles normal lifetime. Can either of you guys comment on that please? Just wanted another outlook on that since it was just thoughts of others.
Differential fluid is most definitely designed to be changed, I have changed mine twice and I have 176k miles. Where ever you read that, throw it away and never listen to them again.
Don't forget the PCV valve. You wouldn't believe how many high-mileage cars I've seen that have likely never had their OEM unit replaced.
Also, now's a good time to make sure all your interior/exterior lamps and bulbs are still operating.
For instance, a lot of newbie C4 owners are surprised to learn the spare tire door under the car is illuminated by a No. 24 bulb, just like the rear license plate area.
Looks cool as **** when you're cruising at night. ****'s don't know WHAT's goin' on under there.

Don't forget to change your brake fluid.
Really? Wan't a book, it was on another forum. Non Corvette related. I thought something sounded sketchy then as to why they would sell it aftermarket. Does changing it in very high miles cause negative effects? There is that myth that when you change transmission fluid in high mileage cars, the tranny fails. I believe it's because it was failling anyway. Same applies to the Differential or just more home mechanic hypothesis's ?

Pictures of what your referring to as in night time?

Damn Ford owners making up lies.
I have owned most makes of cars, from acura's to volvo's and I have never seen one that didn't recommend changing the fluid every 50k-75k miles. Mine is bone stock and has never leaked,
Trannies are the same way, keep the fluids changed and they will last a long time.
