Default Quick engine pull question...

Hey guys, gotta pull my engine, (not with trans) can i do this with the hood still on? also, i have the Edelbrock Air Gap intake mainifold, will this manifold hold up if i use my carb plate bracket? just running scared here he he! thanks, BB

i'd pull the hood since its easier to pull the motor out with the hood off

I like putting my chains to the heads on the heads accessory bracket holes. But i've seen engine carb plates for pulling work just fine

cool, also can i leave the radiator in? i just need to pull this thing to fix one problem then sit her back in.

I installed the engine in my 86 with the hood on, no problem. I would remove the wiper motor so you don't break it.
